Russian central bank tightens currency exchange rules
MOSCOW, Dec 24 (PRIME) -- Russia’s central bank has tightened the currency exchange procedure in case the sum of transaction exceeds 15,000 rubles, the regulator said Thursday.
The new rules oblige a customer not only to show a passport, but fill up a form by indicating his name, surname, passport details, home address, and a personal tax reference number, as well as other information that can be requested by the regulator.
